The 136th Inter-parliamentary Union Assembly

The 136th Inter-parliamentary Union Assembly will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from the 1st to the 5th of April, 2017. Among the numerous agenda items the assembly is to focus on during its time in Dhaka, the attending parliamentarians will debate the theme of “Redressing inequalities: Delivering on dignity and well-being for all”. The assembly will be debating many other current global issues such as “Promoting enhanced international cooperation on the SDGs, in particular on the financial inclusion of women as a driver of development”.
